About gobuildmy
Pet care journalism
built on integrity
gobuildmy is an independent online publication covering pet care, nutrition, training, and wellness. We exist to help pet owners make better decisions for their furry companions every day.
Who We Are
gobuildmy is an independent pet care publication founded in 2024. We publish explainers and practical guides covering the products, health topics, and care practices that matter to pet owners.
The site focuses on clear, accessible information that helps readers ask better questions and make informed decisions. Content is educational and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified veterinarian.
Our Story
gobuildmy was launched in 2024 in response to a familiar problem for pet owners: it had become increasingly difficult to find clear, useful information about the products and care practices for our beloved companions. Marketing copy and search-optimized listicles had crowded out the kind of careful, hands-on reporting that helps people make confident decisions about their pets.
We started gobuildmy to fix that. Our editorial charter is intentionally narrow: we only publish content we can stand behind, we only review products we have actually used, and we only make recommendations we would be willing to act on ourselves. If we cannot test something properly, we say so.
Our coverage spans six core pet care categories. We remain committed to the principles that shaped the site at launch: accuracy, independence, and respect for the reader.
