For example, when giving the "Come" command, hold a favorite treat in front of the cat—without letting it eat it—and back away while repeating the command. No. 2: Rewards. You can offer rewards to reinforce the good habits your cat has already established. Rewards may include food, petting, and praise. For the approach to be effective, rewards must be combined with the necessary guidance, and a reward should be given every time the cat performs the correct behavior.
No. 3 involves using a stern tone to compel the cat to perform the correct behavior. For example, to teach the cat to lie down, you might press it down with your hand while issuing the command "Lie down." After repeating this process several times, the cat will quickly develop a conditioned reflex to lie down. Always provide a reward immediately after the cat is forced to perform the correct action.
